Sean has received a perfect score on Mass Audubon’s 2008 Legislative Report Card. The scores of each legislator are based on their voting records for environmental bills and budget items in 2008, what the group is calling one of the “greenest” years in recent history. This will be the 24th edition of the report and Sean’s first time being scored.
Sean, who serves on the House Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change and Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture, was also involved in environmental issues before taking office last year. In, the past Sean has been active with Vision 2020 in Arlington and the Mystic Shores Neighborhood Team.
Since 1985, Mass Audubon has reported the environmental voting records of the Massachusetts Legislature in order to inform citizens of their state legislators’ performance in protecting the nature of Massachusetts. Twenty-four key votes were used to determine scores.
